These Terms of Service govern your use of CodeCraft's educational services, website, and related platforms. By accessing our services, applying for courses, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These terms are effective as of September 13, 2025, and apply to all users of our software engineering education services in Tokyo, Japan and internationally.

Service Access Requirements
To access our courses, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
- Meet the technical requirements for course participation
- Have a reliable internet connection and appropriate devices
- Complete the application process and meet course prerequisites
- Maintain payment obligations as per enrollment agreements
2. Account and Access Terms
Account Creation
- Accounts are created upon successful course enrollment
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One account per student - sharing accounts is prohibited
- Account information must be kept current and accurate
Account Security
- Use strong passwords and keep credentials confidential
- Report suspicious account activity immediately
- You are liable for all activity under your account
- We may suspend accounts for security reasons
Account Termination
- Either party may terminate with appropriate notice
- Violations of terms may result in immediate suspension
- Refund policies apply based on termination timing
- Access to materials may be revoked upon termination
Multiple Account Policies
- Each student may have only one active account
- Family members may have separate accounts
- Corporate accounts available for team training
- Account transfers require prior approval
3. Service Availability
Service Uptime and Maintenance
We strive to maintain high service availability while reserving the right to:
- Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
- Conduct emergency maintenance as needed for security or stability
- Temporarily suspend services during technical upgrades
- Limit access during periods of excessive demand

Course features and services may vary based on:
- Course type and enrollment level
- Technical requirements and platform capabilities

- Seasonal schedules and instructor availability
Service Modifications

4. Intellectual Property Rights

CodeCraft retains all rights to:
- Course curricula, materials, and instructional content
- Video lectures, presentations, and educational resources
- Software tools, platforms, and proprietary technologies
- Branding, trademarks, and corporate identity
User-Generated Content
Regarding content you create:
- You retain ownership of original work and projects
- CodeCraft may showcase exceptional student work with permission
- Course assignments may be used for educational assessment
- Collaborative projects may have shared ownership terms
License Grants
By enrolling, you receive:
- Limited license to access course materials during enrollment
- Right to use knowledge gained for professional development
- Personal use rights for downloadable resources
- Portfolio rights for completed projects
5. Payment Terms
Currency: All course fees are listed in Japanese Yen (¥) and payment is required in JPY unless otherwise specified.
Payment Obligations
- Course fees must be paid according to enrollment agreement
- Payment plans may be available for full courses
- Late payment fees may apply to overdue accounts
- Full payment required before course completion certificate
Refund Policy
- Full refund available within 7 days of enrollment
- Partial refunds may apply based on course progress
- No refunds after 50% course completion
- Emergency circumstances considered case by case
