These Terms and Conditions constitute a legal agreement between you and CodeCraft Software Engineering Excellence Academy. By accessing our website, enrolling in courses, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.

  • Attempting to hack, compromise, or disrupt our systems
  • Creating fake accounts or misrepresenting your identity
  • Using our services for commercial purposes without permission

1.3 Content Guidelines

When creating or sharing content, you must:

  • Ensure all content is original or properly attributed
  • Avoid posting inappropriate, offensive, or discriminatory material
  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other users
  • Follow coding standards and best practices in technical submissions
  • Maintain professional language in all communications

1.4 Age Requirements

Age Restriction: Users must be at least 18 years old to enroll in our courses independently.

  • Minors (16-17) may participate with parental consent and supervision
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for minors' compliance with these terms
  • Age verification may be required during enrollment

2. Liability and Warranties

2.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

IMPORTANT: Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

CodeCraft disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Guarantees of specific career outcomes or job placement
  • Warranties regarding third-party content or services
  • Implied warranties arising from course of dealing or usage

2.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeCraft shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages resulting from third-party actions or content
  • Technical failures, service interruptions, or system downtime
  • Any damages exceeding the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months

2.3 User Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CodeCraft harmless from:

  • Claims arising from your violation of these terms
  • Your misuse of services or course materials
  • Infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
  • Your negligent or wrongful conduct
  • Legal fees and costs associated with defending such claims

2.4 Force Majeure

CodeCraft shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor strikes, internet outages, pandemic restrictions, or other force majeure events.

3. Legal Information and Dispute Resolution

3.1 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by Japanese law and the courts of Tokyo, Japan have exclusive jurisdiction.

  • All disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Japanese Civil Code
  • Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction for legal proceedings
  • International students acknowledge Japanese legal authority
  • Alternative dispute resolution may be pursued before litigation

3.2 Dispute Resolution Process

For resolving disputes, we follow this process:

  1. Direct Communication: Contact us directly to discuss concerns
  2. Internal Review: We'll review your case within 14 business days
  3. Mediation: Optional mediation through recognized services
  4. Arbitration: Binding arbitration as alternative to litigation
  5. Court Proceedings: Final resort through Tokyo courts

3.3 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of these terms shall remain in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be replaced with enforceable provisions that most closely reflect the original intent.

3.4 Terms Modification

CodeCraft reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:

  • Email notifications to registered users
  • Prominent website announcements
  • Course platform notifications
  • 30-day notice period for significant changes
